About Me

My work is motivated by self-discovery and finding my way as I go. I’m a self-taught artist who paints with heavy body acrylics in a floral Impressionist style.

I started painting in my thirties after the birth of my first child. Creativity helped me through the early days of motherhood and sparked a passion for making art. Painting allows me to express feelings and ideas in a new way. My artist journey led me to shed societal and familial expectations to become a full-time artist. I balanced being a scientist with my art business for five years before I was able to leave my day job. Art has become a way of life; it makes me feel alive and soothes my soul.
